WIN A WEDDING WITH RADISSON BLU HOTEL & SPA SLIGO
Terms & Conditions
The Competition is organised by Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo and is subject to competitive process as further detailed by Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo. The Prize is provided by Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa Sligo and their selected partners, and is subject to conditions as set out below.
- The ‘Win a Wedding prize refers to the celebration of the wedding reception in the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo on 17th November 2012.
- The Wedding must take place on November 17th 2012.
- The Prizes are not exchangeable for cash or any other alternative and are not transferable to anyone other than the Winners.
- On entering the competition to ‘Win a Wedding” entrants agree to participate in publicity both pre- and post- Wedding.

- The finalists must be available to participate in the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Wedding Olympics on November 27th 2011.
- Winners will be decided by a combination of text voting, participation in wedding Olympics game and judges decision.
- Judges decision is final.
- The winning couple agrees to participate in media interviews and photo shoots throughout their wedding planning process and will allow use of their photographs for future publicity.
- All standard wedding terms and conditions of the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo and applicable partners apply.
- In the unlikely event that any partner ceases to trade before the winning wedding takes place the Radisson Blu accepts no responsibility for providing a replacement service.
- More terms and conditions may be added at the discretion of the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo
- Entrants must be over the age of 18 and resident in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland
- A cash alternative is not available
- The Radisson Blu reserves the right to refuse any entry.
- Enteries submitted with faulse details will be rejected
- Entrants agree that by entering the participants personal details may be stored and otherwise processed by Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo for the purposes of administering the competition and for marketing and sending special offers. Please read our privacy policy (available on www.weddingsinsligo.com) carefully to understand how we may use your data and what your rights are.
- Entrants chosen to progress to the next stage of the competition may be notified by phone, e-mail or post. The Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo may disqualify an entrant if it has not managed to contact such entrant within 3 days of its first attempt to do so. The Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa Sligo may then choose an alternative entrant using the same method originally used to select the entrants, and this applies to all stages of the competition.
- The Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo reserves the right to suspend / terminate this competition at any time.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo and all third party connected to the Wedding Competition hereby expressly exclude any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any entrant or winner in connection with any prize draw or any entry.
- As a condition of your entry into the Win a Wedding Competition, you agree to indemnify us and our affiliates, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all liabilities, other expenses (including costs and legal fees) and damages arising out of claims resulting directly or indirectly from such entry.
- The prize is non transferable

The Prize Wedding includes:

- The Wedding (Arrival Reception / Dinner / Evening Reception/ a glass and top up of wine with the meal) is for a maximum of 120 guests (including the Bride & Groom).
- Bridal Suite at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo on the night on B&B basis.

- Feehily’s Florist - The Prize: One brides wedding bouquet, Two Bridesmaid Bouquets, Two Mothers Corsages of Orchids / Fressia / Roses, One Grooms Buttonhole, Four Buttonholes
- Northwest Limos: transfers to the maximum value of €900, i.e. one car for journey over 1 hour, or 2 cars under 1 hour.
- SD Entertainment - DJ set after band - up to 2 hours, Consultation with the couple prior to the wedding to discuss their do's and don'ts for their wedding day, personalised music list for their wedding
- Deja Groove – live band after meal, 2 hour set.
- Wedding Chair Covers supplied by Anne Hurrell. Chair covers and table runners for up to 120 guests.
- Photography for the day by David Knight including visiting the Brides house, attendance at the church/ceremony, location of their choice and reception at Hotel up until the meal. Supply 400-500 images uploaded to your Own Private Web Gallery. QuickTime Movie DVD displays 400-500 photos from the wedding shoot. Choice of Wedding Album a “ Photo story Book containing 65 photos OR Traditional album containing over 60 photos.
- Solas Spa – Bridal and bridesmaids (*2) make up on the 17th November 2012 and make up trial prior to the wedding.
Possible additional items that can be added to Prize Wedding, at the discretion of the winning Bride & Groom and to be paid for by the winning Bride & Groom:
- Additional guests above 120 – dependent on size, capacity and availability at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo
- Any costs associated with additional guests will be charged at the standard Wedding prices for the hotel and the suppliers.
- Guest bedrooms can be booked, subject to availability, at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo for additional Wedding guests. Rates will be quoted at the time of booking request.
- Additional menu options for Wedding Dinner from the three for each course already offered
- Additional wine during Wedding Dinner
- Sparkling wine or Champagne for the toast
Awarding of the prize
- Completion of full application form, which needs to be brought into the hotel at the wedding fair on the 23rd October 2011.
- A random draw to pick shortlist of 20 couples this will be announced in the Sligo Champion
- Shortlist will be further reduced to 10 couples after a text voting campaign to be run by the Sligo Champion newspaper
- Interviews will take place by judges nominated by the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo prior to the Olympics this will reduce the participants to 10 couples
- The final shortlist of 10 couples will take part in the wedding Olympics held at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo on the 27th November 2011.
- Interviews will take place by judges chosen by the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo prior to the Olympics this will reduce the participating couples to 6 couples
- The final 6 participating couples will take part in the Radisson Blu Wedding Olympics. This will be made up of 3 games, with couples being eliminated at each game.
- The first game 2 couples will be eliminated; the 2nd game 2 couples will be eliminated.
- The final game will be based on a Mr. & Mrs question and answers session, where the winning couple will be announced based on the most matching correct answers given.
